Artistic Biography — Nayda (Neda Nasseri)

Neda Nasseri, known artistically as Nayda, is a multifaceted artist whose voice, intuition, and linguistic versatility captivate audiences across disciplines. Born with an innate ear for language and music, she navigates seamlessly between singing, narration, and public speaking in French, English, Farsi, and Spanish.

Her artistic journey began on stage in La Marche du Siècle, where she played the lead role of Frédérica, a singer, in the 2000 musical production at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf. Since then, she has lent her voice and creative energy to a variety of projects: from collaborating with Iranian hip-hop artist Mohammad Bibak to working as a narrator on audiobook collections and corporate storytelling. She was also a semi-finalist in the Festival de la chanson de Granby in 2011 and has performed with the Haitian reggae band Melody as a backing vocalist. Her solo performances as Nayda include original work presented alongside artists such as Léonie Gray, Black Moz, and Cheek Simon.

Nayda’s artistry is grounded in empathy, precision, and a deep understanding of the human experience—qualities honed through her professional training as a pharmacist and her work as a speaker in the health and wellness space. Her scientific background informs her creative work, blending logic with lyricism, and making her voice not only beautiful, but meaningful.

Her artistic expressions often explore themes of identity, resilience, and healing, resonating especially with women and professionals navigating complex life journeys. A performer, healer, and guide, Nayda brings passion and purpose to every stage she steps onto—whether it’s a recording studio, a health panel, or a musical showcase.
